Cityplace is a $550 million dollar development that opened in 2000. It features a 20 screen Muvico theatre, Barnes and Noble, Macy's, shopping, dining, and nightclubs, multi-purpose theatre venue, Publix, and residences. An office tower is under construction. Unlike some other new urbanist developments, Cityplace does a good job of connecting to the rest of the downtown grid. It has attracted developers to build in the vicinity. Here's some pics:
