It looks like a 100 year-old building in High Point will get a major renovation to condos and showroom space for the International Home Furnishings Market. They (condos) look affordable too! This is a great project for High Point, a city we read very little about on these forums.

Brown Investment Properties and Windsor Commercial Properties announced that they are planning to redevelop a site in downtown High Point into showroom space and residential condominiums.

The companies will redevelop 212 North Main St., a four-story building that has existed for 100 years. The project would consist of 14 executive condos on the upper floors and an 8,000-square-foot showroom on the ground floor.

Ivan Garry, a Brown Investment Properties broker based in High Point, will manage sales and leasing for the building. Charlotte-based Reg Narmour was the project's architect.

Construction will begin in early April, and an open house is planned for the spring International Home Furnishings Market later that month.

The condos will range from 700 square feet to 1,540 square feet, with prices between $109,900 and $267,900.
