  1. Highway 74/76 east of the Highway 87 juncture near Rigelwood has been long overdue with the underposted 55mph speed limit. So ridiculous. Now if only all of Highway 17 south of Wilmington to Little River, South Carolina at the state line can be all 60mph.
  2. Two really good restaurants ive been to were Wasabi Sushi off US 64 in Cary and Char-Grill by the RBC.
  3. Great profile page! The WB and UPN no longer exist, WB is CW and UPN is MyNetworkTv (MNTV).
  4. Your getting warmer but no, its not a freeway. The jersey wall.... keep talking about that.. what do you notice about it (no trick question i swear!). Its not Collingswood or Burlington but Glassboro is the closest you are getting so far. Your getting warmer too SJ7 but its not Woodbury. Thats all im saying because otherwise, you'll figure out that photo.
  5. 1st clue on both photos, they are south jersey locations
  6. I agree that you should fine companies who are hiring illegal immigrants. Nationwide, if this was enacted, we would see a sharp decrease in illegal immigration.
  7. No No No No No No Everything is not even close.
  8. Ok, its my turn to help out. Name the following in these two pics: 2pts for road 2pts for town 1pt for county Photo II Yes, im into roads and so what... 2pts for road (bonus pt for what direction im heading) 2pts for town 1pt for county 1pt for any significant thing(s) of the highway i was driving on
  9. First long paragraph, i totally agree on what your saying, as ive driven all aforementioned highways. NCDOT though, is on top of things when it comes to rural secondary two lane roads. 2nd short paragraph, could you further explain on the alternative part?
  10. haha, oooops. Didnt see lamm's post above me
  11. One headache relieved but now you have to contend with more delays starting with I-95 at US 1 in Alexandria and crossing the Potomac River, I-95 at I-295 getting into MD.
  12. Urbanplanet wouldnt be Urbanplanet if it was not for Metro and the Moderating staff, using up their own time, monitoring topics to ensure UP is a real legitimate website. Keep up the good work!
  13. I felt that the US 301 bypass of Statesboro took a while to drive around the downtown area. It probably would of been faster to drive through the town
  14. Charleston beats Cola for humidity, thats for sure. Cola has got to be the hottest part of the state. One because Cola is situated along the Sandhills so as the sun beats down the ground, it radiates the ground. Pretty much up and down US 1 is the heatbelt of the state. On an occasion or two that ive heard Sumter gets the oppressive heat like the Sandhills would expect although it is just east of the Sandhills/Fall Line.
  15. Uptown Charlotte along South Blvd at I-277/US 74
  16. The new T.I. cd i just bought over at the Best Buy in Pineville (next to Charlotte) thats playin on the computer
  17. Im gonna be in Charlotte tomorrow so maybe I could write a blog about the light rail progress along South Blvd from an outsiders point of view
  18. ^Chas metro area only has one Best Buy? Im suprised! You would think another one would be on Sam Rittenburg or maybe even in Mt Pleasant on US 17 (new town center) but i didnt even think about that there is only one! Is there only one Circuit City as well?
  19. http://www.pbase.com/ronsc/image/60716047 I went in there back in 2002, it was reallllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice. Someone told me, Strom Thurmond was in the capitol that day i was there but i never happend to see him there.
  20. ^i didnt know that about Cola The other SC city that i know that spills over county lines (by water, not land) is Charleston. This of course is Daniel Island.
  21. ^In regards to Latin American studies, perhaps the F grade reflects the majority of Florida because i doubt the Miami-West Palm Beach metro area would flunk that badly. Teaching history in NC, i dont know if i buy that F. The county schools i attended had good history/geography teachers. Then again, theres the other 99 counties that i cant speak of
  22. Florence cant be that bad. For one, its does not rain everyday that sadly spikes up suicides in Seattle
