  1. Celtic Studios: Production will begin soon in Baton Rouge on a live-action feature film for Disney+. Crater, a futuristic teen adventure, will be filmed at Celtic Studios and on location throughout the Capital Region, with an estimated budget of $40 million. The project is expected to employ 325 local crew members as well as some 400 extras. Kyle Patrick Alvarez will direct the film with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine producing through their 21 Laps Entertainment banner.

  10. Well that's cool we at least gained in the metro area. Looking at trends of other similar cities, it 's lucky we didn't lose population in the 60's, but considering that the city limits aren't expanding anymore, I think the days of increased population in the city proper are over with. Also interesting to see Livingston has become quite more diverse then it used to be, relatively speaking.
  11. Thanks! I was wondering why I couldn't get the picture to show. Double huh? I was trying to guess at how tall the mall is. Edit: Using linear measurements and streetview pics from google I calculated the service portion sitting on top of Dillard's is ~51' and the JCPenny facade is ~60'. So yeah, that new building will rise high.
