  1. Charter Square (Site One)

But of course you can, both bbnt building and bank of america building share a 3 level subterranean deck. Been there for years. I park in it everyday.
  2. Powerhouse Plaza

i too noticed this. It's a really nice building plan. Very progressive very modern and bright.
  3. Charter Square (Site One)

I work right beside the Charter Square site in the Bank of America building and as of last week the first beams of the 1st official story of the 1st tower (The taller Tower) are being constructed so from all indications it seems as that at least at this point the first tower is going to be built as planned finishing sometime early 2010 I'm thinking. Unsure about the second tower.
  4. The Edison

I completely agree. I love the renderings and do hope it's built as planned. Complete with Coopers Barb-Q and all.
  5. Triangle Towne Center

I'd like to see the stats for Southpoint Mall, They have had 2 actual shootings there since it opened and it opened around the same time TTC did. Plus they had the added draw of the Movie Theater at Southpoint, and last time I was there that made me really uncomfortable, in fact more uncomfortable than I've ever been at TTC. But it their defense they did beef up security and install the cameras. Silly that TTC hadnt installed cameras and all by now, it's been there what 4 years?
  6. Soleil Center I & II at Crabtree

From inception to Fruition this project has been a Hot Mess. I still say this thing never sees the light of day. I mean really, it could have been nearly finished by now. If they had done things more quickly they wouldnt have hit these horrible financing headwinds they are now.
  7. The "L" Building

Just an update, a friend of mine at downtown raleigh alliance told me yesterday that the exterior office portion should begin construction within a month, they are cranking pretty quickly with this project.
  8. RDU International Airport

The upgrade to the airport was overdue, irregardless of how the airline industry is or will perform. The airport model was dated. And it was time to have a fresh look and design model. At least now, the airport can compete.
  9. The Edison

One word. Hot!!!!! I so hope that everything comes into fruition with this project. It is so nice so crisp looking. WoW. Really is an attractive plan, and Im glad they are going to work Coopers and the Reliable Loan into the design.
  10. Powerhouse Plaza

Nice indeed. Lovin the Glass, something our city finally is seeing more of these days.
  11. Raleigh Union Station

I agree, now is definetly the time. At least lay the preliminaries down and then in the future it will be easier to build upon it and modify it. It's as clear as day in my opinion.
  12. Green Square & NCSECU HQ

Good news! Long time coming. I guess the State Employees Credit Union is going to remain for a while longer, which is just as well. They just upgraded there computers and customer interfaces.
  13. RDU International Airport

Ooooh I wanna be on the first flight out of the new RDU. I can't wait to see the finished thing. Dosent seem like it's taken that long to build it.
  14. Soleil Center I & II at Crabtree

I'm beginning to think that aside from the mall everthing at that parcel and the adjoining mall parcel is doomed. Soleil is questionable, and the kidds hill site which has had to possibility to be several diffirent projects over the last decade and every single one has fallen through, meanwhile other areas of the city has sprouted up and flourished. Yeah, definitely cursed.
  15. Downtown Raleigh's Future

Denver has a nice vibrant downtown with lots of commerial, and tons of shopping and residential. It has a real 24/7 type feel. And is really clean also. I think Raleigh should emmulate that city. Especially 16th street.
