  1. That land was originally part of the Cole manufacturing land... I would imagine they are talking about that land
  2. I partied in that house in the early to mid 2000's. Lots of good bluegrass was played and consumed.
  3. Interesting... this one is also a single building that crosses multiple properties.,and appears to have been subdivided recently (within the last 3 years).. Also the properties front city owned land, not right of way, but city owned. Also, within the same block is a townhouse parcel without frontage on Peridoe Pt.
  4. All of these are “pork chop” lots and have at least 5-10 feet of street frontage. The rezoning request on Parkwood does not have any pork chops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It’s not a building type, But it allows separately owned structures to be built on a single parcel and avoids having a parcel without access. Can you find a subdivision like this on Polaris that has parcels without frontage? I looked today, but I have a center city bias in my search. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It seems that Condo would be the most likely way to do something like this.
  7. That fire access/community access lane physically crosses 8 different people's property.
  8. In order to access the last house, that person will have to trespass across 8 properties.
  9. Flurry of rezonings in and around PM at the end of the year. https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-183.aspx https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-179.aspx https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-170.aspx https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-156.aspx https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-155.aspx https://charlottenc.gov/planning/Rezoning/RezoningPetitions/2019Petitions/Pages/2019-145.aspx 1428 Parkwood 2019-179 is the craziest... not sure its even really legal.
  10. observer had an article over the weekend about Asana acquiring property on the "historic " Strip... where fifteen ten antiques was?
  11. I used to live in one of those houses. It is really not that hard. The light creates plenty of intermittent gaps, and it’s far enough from the corner to give sight lines etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I (until very recently) worked right there so I follow this rather closely and see parking at all times of day.... once those 2 are complete there will be 3 to replace it ... on a larger scale. The parking situation now, is about what it is always going to be going forward.
  13. I am loving the direction and tenant mix of this shopping center right now. Tommy’s, portofinos, armada skate shop, vis art, all complement the existing mix. Go there and check out Eastside local coffee shop! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You know, in retrospect the Thirsty Beaver probably does more to sell that apartment complex than any "amenity" they could have pursued. Starbucks is pretty solid draw too. If I were building a building, I would probably rather have a definite starbuck and a little less sf than I would a maybe starbucks and more sf. The draw for East Blvd is getting weaker and weaker with all the competition out there. I think they need the Starbucks.
  15. Welcome @slipperypete Is that really the issue with Lidl? I thought it was internal Lidl issues.
