  1. Well anyway it's Mt. Tammany http://www.purdes.com/njhiking/tammany/index.html Here's another, much better pic:
  2. Ok here's one for you all: 1 for the county, 2 for the name, 2 for the mountain range it's in and 3 for how it got it's name! Oh and the image URL contains part of the name - NO peeking!
  3. Happy Holidays everyone! And Here's a little music to help you get into the spirit. (might take a minute to load)
  4. That's my name! Now, the highway, you really got me on that one. The town I'm going to say Woodbury, Gloucester County coming down Hwy 45, Woodbury's Broad St.
  5. The town of Riverside in Burlington County is getting tough on illegal immigrants. On the one hand it is the law and there are benefits to this, but it is making it hard for the economy to remain competitive. Since strict immigration law was passed, this town has been quiet
  6. Well anyway, the building in the picture is: the Governor's Office. Here's the link to the article I got it from. Now let's get some more pics up on here!
  7. No, it's on State Street right across from the NJ State Building. It's the office of the only statewide elected official in NJ! ( )
  8. Yes! And no it's not a brothel it is a state office, and it belongs to the only statewide elected official. (this should be easy now!)
  9. Yes! You're on the right track, that's 1/3...
  10. Ok I know this is not my thread but I don't think Lammius will mind if I post a pic of my own. Well not of my own actually, I got it from another site (with permission of course! ) Anyway, there are 3 categories to this one: the city it's in, (approximate) location in the city, and what the building is used for. Good Luck!
  11. Part's new "Mountaineer Express" between Greensboro and Boone http://www.partnc.org/US421express.htm AFAIK, this is the only express bus that goes all the way through the Triad like that. (correct me if I'm wrong?) Anyway, this could the the course for the rail line to be build in the future as it follows a somewhat similar course and makes some of the same stops. BTW, Part's been adding a number of new lines lately. They must be doing well which bodes well for the rail line
  12. Now that's awesome. Just think how many blighted industrial sites like this there are that could be fixed up and made into something decent...
  13. That station brings back memories.. I used to go there and then take the bus to go to school at Camden County College. Also, for a short time my girlfriend lived about 3 blocks from there so I was there quite a bit!
  14. Lindenwold, Camden County, at the final PATCO station near the White Horse Pike (Rt. 30). I'm thinking $2.45 for the fare unless they raised it again since I last checked!
  15. How many people would use the PART Rail System at least once a week? Daily? I would use it every weekend, and at other times as well. I would attach a poll here but I can't find the controls to do so.
  16. Here's some BS for you. This poor farmer is about to be thrown off his land. I suspect this has something to do with developers wanting that land. Knowing how that whole area is just growing rapidly. Is it just me or does this sound like a bunch of horse crap? (pun intended) This used to be the Garden State. Now, the state takes people's gardens away. http://www.nj.com/news/ledger/jersey/index...ll=1&thispage=2
  17. LOL You gotta read through these, they're great! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=New+Jersey Here's my favorite:
  18. Knew it! I mean I had a hunch... I've only been on the NEC a couple times riding the train from Trenton to NYC but that did look sorta familiar.
  19. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say.. Harrison?
  20. Wow that's like crazy construction! Nice pics!
  21. Just out of curiousity, what are the architectural features that define a Trenton rowhouse? As opposed to a NYC brownstone or Philly type row?
  22. Ah! Trenton City! That's about as much as I can determine. Perhaps someone else can pick up the rest...
