    Peace Center Remodel

This building is completely underutilized in its current state, even by the public. Why not bring it back to its original, enclosed state? I don’t understand some of the negativity around this.

Terrace was actually really good, but very expensive imo.

Does anybody know what's going on with Harris Teeter at Lewis Plaza? I haven't seen much progress on the supermarket aspect of the project.

    Northpointe mixed use development.

I think this may be related to ReWa Richland Creek Sewer Trunk rehab. I noticed all the stormwater basins and ditches are cleaned out and re-structured. I'm not 100% certain though.

I don't think it's the Toast Charleston coming to Greenville. It's the NC based one....Famous Toastery.

from meeting minutes March 2016: Mr. Edwards and Mr. Burch focused on two things in DC. One was the Air Traffic Control Tower and the second was funding for exit lanes. The FAA desires to do a seismic project on the existing tower which was originally slated for $4.5 – 5 million project and has now turned into a $9 -10 million project. The hard cost when we were looking at a new Air Traffic Control Tower was about $16 million excluding equipment costs. We have engaged our members in DC to help to transfer the funds from the seismic pot to a new construction pot. Senator Graham’s office is taking the lead from an appropriations language standpoint.

217 North Main Street property is being listed. Anybody know if Blue Ridge Brewing is relocating in downtown?? I know they have or were talking about opening a location in Greer.

The Spinx is now taped off and closed for updating. Has anyone seen any renderings?

    The West End

Looks like West End Coffee could be opening up a coffee shop in the space that used to be Road Waves Fitness down from the stadium. Adjacent to the new M West development.

    Augusta Road

I saw survey stakes at Arthur State Bank on Augusta Rd. Any ideas? Also, I heard that the Fire Station on Augusta Rd / Faris will also be closing, but I don't remember hearing anything about a new station being built or budgeted for....

    Camperdown (Greenville News Building Site)

I agree that Spartanburg design can't just be dropped into the Camperdown mix, but honestly, what are these buildings going to look like 10 years from now? I usually don't post this type of frustration and keep to myself on here, but it's frustrating to see only 1 out of every 10 projects go with the classical timeless look. I'm not an architect and do not know a lot about it, but there just seems to be certain materials and design that will stay in style and I haven't seen a lot of them recently proposed. Not to be the guy that posts negative and doesn't offer a solution, any ideas on whom to voice their concern to within the city? Is it DRB? Local councilman/ councilwoman?
