  1. Lived in this house back in the early 2000's. Sad to watch it go.

  3. Southeast Raleigh

I agree, 1 and 2 are certainly the best uses.
  4. Southeast Raleigh

It looks like city council is about to make a decison on Stone's Warehouse in January http://www.newsobserver.com/2014/12/12/4398880_raleigh-weighs-affordability-history.html?sp=/99/102/110/&rh=1
  5. Raleigh Skyline

Anyone, know why they lit the PNC crown red, tonight? I do not believe they have ever done that before.
  6. Raleigh Skyline

I just wish RedHat would have inclosed the back side of their sign.
  7. 227 Fayetteville St

http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/blog/real-estate/2014/10/downtown-raleigh-227-fayetteville-st-vitalsource.html I sounds like it is just a company that is moving from within Downtown to this building. However they may have more news tomorrow.
  8. Person Street

This was released last year, but I don't think I ever saw it here. What is everyones thoughts of converting Blount and Person to two way? http://www.raleighnc.gov/business/content/PlanUrbanDesign/Articles/BlountPersonCorridorStudy.html
  9. Skyhouse Apartments

Thats probably true. we probably need more things to talk about.
  10. Skyhouse Apartments

As mentioned before the floors are numbered on the outside of the elevator on the south side, indicating they are working on the columns and floorplate of the 22nd floor. ... Maybe the contractors got this one wrong.
  11. The Edison

I agree completly with orulz. If the street scape and retail portions of this building are done correctly It will be a huge success. It will create continuous retail on both sides of the street down the entire block of Davie and Blount. Couple this in with the currently underutilized City Market and you now have a large human scaled retail cluster. Success will ultimately be determined by the city and landlords ability to get a great mix of shops and restaurants to fill all of the spaces.
  12. Urban Apartment Boom (Raleigh)

Excellent point. Do you think the two grochery stores in CV will be a serious impediment to luring a compeditor to the west side of downtown? I have also read that grocery stores have serious reservations about geographical proximity as well.
  13. Urban Apartment Boom (Raleigh)

I don't really consider the Lincoln, Elan or L building that far flung. All of these are much closer to the core than Gleenwood south is.
  14. Urban Apartment Boom (Raleigh)

It looks like they are about to start work on the Lincoln. Fences are up and some equipment is on site.
  15. Carolina Row at Crabtree

I thought the city was planning on starting to limit retail in this area to get a better handle on traffic.
