    Good New Restaurants

I don't know if it would be weird, but they should totally keep the same artwork on the building

    Carolina Panthers

    Shut it down

    Carolina Panthers

We've been spoiled with good defensive coordinators, but this guy Eric Washington is in way over his head.

    Charlotte Hornets and the Arena

Miles Bridges is looking real good, like someone who should have gone much higher in the draft. Also love all the different lineups Borrego has been throwing out so far, which was a major flaw with Clifford. I think the Hornets will be pretty good this year. Outside of Boston, Toronto, and Philly the East is wide open... and this is also probably the best group of young players Charlotte has had in a long time (Bridges, Monk, Hernangomez, Graham)

Snooze is dope. I'm always down for more places that serve breakfast 7 days a week and not just the weekends.

People have been making fun of that goofy ass statue for years. That thing needed to be taken down the moment it was put it. Can we also get the Panthers logo on the middle of the field while were at it.

The one we had for the 2017 All-Star weekend was better IMO

    Crescent Stonewall Station

I like that it has a Whole Foods. Don't care for the design. I think if the retail space was much smaller and was only going to be, say... two restaurants instead of the Whole Foods, I'd probably really dislike this project.
  9. I love it. Good amount of retail, good height, and it's not blue and silver like every other building.

    Learning from Other Places

I think they look great. They just look real expensive. IDK if the market in Charlotte could support an entire skyscraper / complex of high-end urban residential. But then again, I'd have rather seen Living Levels proposed than that boring luxury condo 1Brevard that got canceled. Also would be pretty tight if you made that the new Carolina Theatre building.

NoDa (N Davidson St Arts District) Projects

Can't blame them. But still really sucks. Hate losing Smelly Cat + that building. In the very least, the retail / street presence of new building better be awesome, that's a pretty key location. Company Store is staying right?

    Amazon HQ2

How do people in places like Atlanta feel about the possibility of landing HQ2? Considering Atlanta is so much bigger than Charlotte, adding way more people per year and is battling with being over congested and overgrown, I have to imagine most residents are against it? What about places like Dallas?

The quote is from the "Why Your Team Sucks" piece Deadspin puts out every year. It's basically a Comedy Central roast on every team. They go overboard ripping every city/team. I mean, they're pretty fun reads, but WTBV pulling quotes from it would be like pulling quotes from The Onion.

    Amazon HQ2

^^ I prefer looking at the raw numbers over the percentages. Percentages skew the results with the city size. I mean, if you were just to look at where millennials were moving to then NYC had a net increase of 30,000, Boston 15k, and Philly 14k. Drop down to Houston at 6k, Austin at 4.5k, San Antonio at 3.6k. Drop even further down to Charlotte at 1,372 and Raleigh at 677. They wouldn't even make the list. Anyway, if feels like Pittsburgh and Philly should have a case to be in Amazon's top-five. Pittsburgh has a solid tech base + Carnegie Mellon. Both are low cost, at least relative to the northeast and Philly feels likes it's been on fire the last several years. Isn't that where most people from Brooklyn move to after they can no longer afford it?

Tryon Place - Crescent project at Tryon and Stonewall

They should make a direct connection through the cemetery into NCMF (I like how no one refers to it as Avidxchange Music Factory). For instance, make North Cedar connect with one of the paths in the cemetary and turn it into a nice pedestrian only street that connects right over into NCMF BLVD. That way, you don't have to move any graves. You can throw some lights in there...
