  6. this proposal certainly came out of nowhere... i'll remain cautiously optimistic: New $250m skyscraper, The Block, proposed for 2nd Ave N Birmingham development website: https://theblock.live/ this would have the tallest occupiable floor in the state (i believe the RSA Tower in mobile, with its spire, would still be taller though)
  7. The Dagny: (appears to be complete, or close to it) Bakers Row II (finally seeing some progress) Printers Corner (this used to be that gutted building in Parkside with the "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL" graffiti) Protective Stadium (i believe this will be the tallest part... looks to be slightly shorter than the westin next door)
  8. Valley Hotel (Homewood) Ascend looks almost ready to open: UAB Dorm this one should be done soon: Foundry Yards Bakers Row II finally seeing framing: New Ideal (red brick building next to pizitz garage) Brown Marx anyone know what they're doing here?? 9. random updates from 8/1: Battery II not much happening on the outside yet, except for window replacement. Lakeview Green was able to get some better pics of that steel structure on 29th. will this be retail? Avenue A Townhomes glad to see the second (of four) buildings under construction. these make quite an impact from the 24th street bridge. Dewberry Building not sure what this steel structure is on the 5th avenue side, but man this facade looks sooo much better than the 4th ave side.. Protective Stadium managed to get some shots from all around the site. you can see the steel structure going up for the suites on the west side.
  10. American Life Building: i hope they keep (and repaint) the white "AMERICAN LIFE" branding at the top: Hilton Tapestry (Commerce Center): Mercantile on Morris: Avenue A: (I saw someone unloading a moving truck!)
