Hmmm….United Rentals just purchased a property in LaVergne for $12.34 Million. They currently have a location at 301 Crutcher Street (right in the middle of PSC metals). May not be anything. https://www.nashvillepost.com/business/development/national-building-equipment-supplier-buys-la-vergne-facility/article_57cc5f06-f88f-11ec-a486-7bd8fcc1eaad.html

I’m not sure about the Float Bar, but Resolution Eyecare is the tenant for the front building. The owner ran into some trouble with codes for doing work without a permit - most of that has been settled now. I’ve contacted the owner of the former used car parking lot next door and he’s pretty set on leasing his lot.

Maybe it is this TSU campus….

Is there a link to the survey or the results of the neighborhood canvasses?

It isn’t entirely correct, but pretty damn accurate? no? All I am saying is that I took every survey they sent out and there were not options to go against what narrative they were/have been pushing. I honestly want to know if they have links to their results that show options. I’ve responded to their emails with the same request. They’ve inserted themselves into a lot of local conversations without any liability to their actions/accusations.

You are correct. I do not have the facts in front of me. I am going strictly off memory of the survey I took and “professional” interactions that I have had with SUN. I knew I should have taken screenshots. Is there a link to the article/survey that shows what the options were for each question? I cannot find it on your, I mean their, website.

I’ve noticed from your previous responses on this thread that your views on the East Bank and the new stadium align with SUN’s views. That’s fine, but please do not tell me that their surveys are a consensus of the neighborhood. They ask very specific questions without any alternative. The outcome is predetermined.

It’s time to move on with PATHE. Here’s an article from WPLN: https://wpln.org/post/displaced-riverchase-residents-feel-tension-as-community-groups-split-on-their-demands-of-developer/ Something that I found interesting in the article that I had not yet heard : “P.A.T.H.E.’s original agreement with the developer became a starting point for Stand Up. In an old draft, Stand Up axed P.A.T.H.E. out of any deal and asked the developer to pay the organization $1.25 million for breaking the agreement. The demand caught some side eyes and has since been dropped. “We took that million dollars off the table,” says Nathaniel Carter with Stand Up Nashville. “We don’t want people to think we’re trying to take somebody down for some money. You know, that was for us paying for a monitor over a certain amount of years.” He says the point was to make sure there were teeth in the agreement to discourage the developer from breaking it.“

Where on TSU’s campus? My guess would be the farm land along the river by Ted Rhodes.

Curious for anyone in the know: why would they choose this type of crane rather than what we typically see in Nashville (see background)? I’m assuming it has to do with space.
