  1. It's all about the bike

Couple questions about the auction: Are things auctioned off 1 by 1 or is there a written bidding process? Do I need to bring cash? How long does it usually go for and do you need to be there early?
  2. It's all about the bike

Anyone see how they're welcoming bicycles in Detroit? http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...0369/1409/METRO
  3. The State of Downtown Grand Rapids Retail

OT but, I used to love the Blue Goose (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about radicaljoy)! I haven't been inside there in probably 7-8 years or so but it was great to see it still up an running last time I was in St Charles.
  4. Interesting, I never knew that. I haven't been in there so I guess I'll have to go early.
  5. What about Pickwick Tavern? on Cherry. That's close to where you're looking. (I think that's what it's called).
  6. The Watering Hole

Here's the top 10 strange street names in the country: 10. Tater Peeler Road in Lebanon, Tenn. 9. The intersection of Count and Basie in Richmond, Va. 8. Shades of Death Road in Warren County, N.J. 7. Unexpected Road in Buena, N.J. 6. Bucket of Blood Street in Holbrook, Ariz. 5. The intersection of Clinton and Fidelity in Houston 4. The intersection of Lonesome and Hardup in Albany, Ga. 3. Farfrompoopen Road in Tennessee (the only road up to Constipation Ridge) 2. Divorce Court in Heather Highlands, Pa. 1. Psycho Path in Traverse City, Mich. as mentioned here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11570314/ Way to go Traverse!
  7. The Watering Hole

I'm on around 11PM a lot. 3rd shift is great! I don't read it all day then I get here and there's 5 new pages on several threads.
  8. I thought lunch was good. Good portions of food and you also get 2 crab rangoons as well as an eggroll with your entree/rice. I thought the eggrolls were great.
  9. Is their target to be a pub or a dance club? I think that if it's supposed to be a pub concept the dance club goers will stop going there to dance when they all realize it's not Tiki Bob's. I'm willing to bet a lot of people that have gone in there the past week were expecting Tiki's to be open and not a new Irish bar. But I haven't been there yet so maybe it's a night club with Irish decor.
  10. The Watering Hole

I went in there on Sunday night since there were people eating and I guess it was one of those pre-opening party things. Person I talked to said they'd be open to the public on Monday.
  11. The Watering Hole

Right now is the first time I've read since about Thursday night. 3 pages to read on just this thread! I'll be here for a while tonight.
  12. The Watering Hole

A buddy of mine met the Jade Pig guys in Mexico of all places at a race they were doing there. Their shop has always interested me. I'd love to get inside it.
  13. Old Chicago is actually a pretty good place. I ate at one in Tampa, FL and loved it. Great selection of local microbrews and other imports and the pizza was great. For a national chain, I like it. When is it going to open?
  14. Wow, I had no idea that Mojo's opened a second floor. I guess I haven't been there in a long time. Gives me a good excuse to check it out sometime soon.
  15. penninsular club renovation

Does anyone know about the organization? I thought about joining after reading about the membership fees and MVP access. I'm just not sure if that's something that I would fit in to or not being 23 and just out of college. Is it more of a social club than a sports club?
