I think brand loyalty mostly removes the possibility of ill fitting clothes. I could be an outlier, but i know which companies run small and who runs big, somewhat after trial and error...but i've got it down now. polos for example. Walmart, costco or Macys polos = downsize due to vanity sizing, Banana Republic polos = upsize, express polos =mostly true to size....unless you are accustomed to vanity sizing lol.

https://mibiz.com/sections/health-care/spectrum-health-plans-72m-projects - some of the projects from the master plan are starting to trickle out. Going to check again and see if I can get more to share... -
I think we are talking about two different things. the old YMCA on leonard was linked above for the 120 units. this is up the hill near the cemetery. am i missing a link?

I was recently at the Plainfield Meijer and OMG, they have the most amazing, fastest, reverse vending machines I have ever encountered. I was in and out in no time. If you've got pandemic cans, head to Plainfield. With the speed of these, there's really no reason to not expand the bottle deposit law a bit (ciders, etc.)

West Leonard School has been gutted and only the south and western facades are being kept. Not sure if this is still the same owner and plans from 2018 https://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/2018/10/grand_rapids_votes_to_sell_for.html

They've been updating the plan due to changes in working with the pandemic. I believe it is getting reviewed internally now. I'm still going to ask if I can get a Urban Planet Meetup review of the plan. or I guess a zoom\Teams call. Sent from my Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T) using Tapatalk -

couple of weeks ago it was Indian independence day and I like to celebrate those sorts of holidays by steeping myself in their food of the culture, the food i ad from Pind was amazing. I can't speak to the restaurant because I got takeout, but food was great. highly recommend. Sent from my Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T) using Tapatalk -
there are three new murals going in on Michigan Street. I got this photo of the one at Michigan and Fuller on the Old Kent County Republicans building, which is ironically now check cashing business. There's a new one going in on the old Cork and cap on Michigan and diamond, and then another one on Michigan Street on bobs bar. looking good GR Sent from my Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T) using Tapatalk

As a kid visiting my grandparents in Rockford, I seem to recall that this middle building on the cornerstone campus was a car dealership. Can anyone confirm i am remembering that correctly? The building with the mini white pyramids on the top. Sent from my Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T) using Tapatalk

Laker Line began service yesterday. Bummer of a time to bring on an articulated bus. It was empty when I saw it, but that's sort of expected all things considered.

Looks like a number of new murals are going up throughout the city. https://downtowngr.org/announcements/2020/07/womens-way Also, the new welcome mural by the new MSU building looks great, but the colors bring to mind a big block M, which feels odd. I'll try to get an updated pic as I think it is complete now Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I'm liking seeing the articulated busses for the LL. and the stops on Michigan hill now service TWO routes and has signage for the SL and LL. [emoji2962] Starting to almost look like we have a transit system. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

"As our services and patient population continue to grow, so must our downtown parking capacity. Parking for our patients, visitors and team members continues to be a priority at the Spectrum Health Medical Center. An effective parking strategy contributes to a positive overall patient experience and higher job satisfaction from our team members. To that end, a four-level expansion to Parking Ramp 6 on Barclay Avenue NE near the Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital emergency department will begin this week. Beginning July 9, Barclay Avenue NE will be closed between Crescent Street NE and Lyon Street NE to allow for the use of a tower crane, which will last until July 17. The Butterworth Hospital emergency department entrance will remain open and available as traffic will be able to turn onto Barclay Avenue NE from Michigan Street NE. " Four levels and a roof.
