Here's an article describing the project and other phases: http://www.thestate.com/news/local/article13926086.html Yes, there is a lot of stone work, it is a Square after all. As the article mentioned, over 100 trees were planted so it will look a lot greener come spring.

There was a crane on Lady Street. I think they were doing some kind of maintenance work to the old Certus Bank Building (previously the NBSC)

Foundation Square! Lots of stone work but also lots of trees. New restaurant on the SE quadrant (1801 Grille) and a new water feature (still being installed) on the SW quadrant.

Here's a view from the completed phase two of the Vista Greenway with Finlay Park in the foreground. The greenway now connects the Vista to Elmwood. It will eventually be extended to the Earlwood Neighborhood. We walked from the Vista to Elmwood Cemetery, a hidden gem.

I heard it's a temporary store until the stadium opens.

650 Lincoln, looks like Barberitos and a coffee shop will be part of the retail spaces.

Good question. The townhomes on the Columbia side across from EdVenture seemed to have sold quickly. These will have an amazing view and access to the riverwalk, not to mention walking distance to some great restaurants on State Street (aka West Vista). My only concern is the proximity to the chicken plant, which has got to go.

A couple of drive-by shots. The first one is the complex at the corner of Huger and Blossom, view from the Blossom Bridge heading towards Assembly. The second shows the size of 650 Lincoln, heading in the same direction.
