  1. The developer of 2400 CRESTMOOR targeted for Green Hills, has landed a permit to demolish a structure standing on the footprint of the proposed mixed-use project to include two hotels. Gallatin-based Green & Little is teaming with Chartwell Hospitality and Leeward Caye Interests on the project, which will be locate at the point at which Crestmoor Avenue curves and becomes Cleghorn Avenue. Environmental Abatement is handling the razing, with the permit value at $44,000. The project will include an eight-story building to feature the 207-room boutique The Green Hills Hilton. In addition, a nine-story building will offer an upscale 116-room Marriott Residence Inn, 30,000 square feet of Class A office space, street-level retail space and a parking garage. --Nashville Post, June 23, 2016 More complete background on project in this story from Feb. of 2016: http://www.nashvillepost.com/business/development/article/20488985/works-begins-on-longplanned-mixeduse-green-hills-project Locale is the large maroon block in the center of this screen shot from Smeagolsfree's excellent Nashville Metro Development Map:
