Miami/South Florida Development Index @ UrbanPlanet.org Welcome to the Projects and Construction Index for Miami and the South Florida metropolitan area at UrbanPlanet.org. This section is designed to make it simple to find out about what new and exciting projects are taking place throughout South Florida. South Florida, especially Miami, is experiencing one of the most explosive growth periods in its history. Hemmed in by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Everglades on the west, land across South Florida has become scarce, leaving less opportunities to build outward rather build upward. Understandably, it is hard to keep up with the hundreds of projects, including high-rise developments and transportation expansions, that are taking place. As the name of this thread suggests, the index will help you quickly and easily find what you are looking for without the need to scroll through countless pages of threads. For your convenience, we sort this index several ways, including update status, city or district, height, and alphabetical order. If you are looking at projects by update status, whenever new information becomes available about a specific project, that project's name will move to the top of that list. There is also a "special categories" section for projects such as transit-oriented developments. Finding information is easy. Choose an index below and click on the project you wish to see. You will be directed to that project's entry in the Project and Construction thread. If you prefer, you may also go to the P&C thread directly. MAIN INDEX [ Update status | Alphabetical listing | City and district | Heights | Special categories ] TOTALS Total projects indexed: 379 Total P&C entries created: 379 TO REQUEST ADDITIONS OR MODIFICATIONS This index is far from complete. Our editing team is working hard to add more projects. Public input is appreciated. If you have information about a specific project and wish to have it added to the database, please submit them to Aessotariq via private message. In the future, a thread may be created for this specific purpose.
