Milford Street

Hi,

I hear that Milford Street here in the area from West Grand Boulevard to Tireman or so used to be quite the little shopping district. From the descriptions I've heard from people in the area, I guess it's all but gone away since the 50s or 60s, but I am wondering if any of you might have any old photos or other information about this area. It would make for an interesting before and after comparision, to see, on a small scale, what Detroit may have been like in its heyday.

I'd bet most of you probably don't even know this area, because, quite literally, there's nothing there now.

I've searched for photos, and I can't find anything at all. Maybe someone else will have better luck....
