Just limited to Houston, I'd say Pennzoil Place and the Tenneco Building (whatever it's called nowadays).

The Tenneco Building is one of those rare early, mid-60's modernist buildings that was done right, with great attention to detail and style. It's a classic of its era and has withstood the test of time.

i voted for fountain place. if you have ever been there, than you know the true beauty of this building. it is unique and amazing!

I completely agree, one of the best buildings around. I love how it looks different from every angle that you view it. My second choice would be the Frost Bank Tower, probably my favorite building completed it the last few years.

My hometown love conquers all and I choose Fountain Place. I know BoA and even Reunion Tower are associated more with Dallas. But Fountain Place is really beautiful. The architecture and the simple design really get me. Plus the fountains themselves are such a nice surprise in the midst of Downtown.

I don't really look at Texas all that much. But my favorite had to be the Bank Of America, Houston. I also refered to it as the "Big Hand". It's one of the landmarks that helps me identify Houston in pics. I really need to pay more attention 2 Texen cities.

So many good choices. I really like all of them. Chase Tower & Fountain Place in Dallas, Williams Tower & Bank of America Center in Houston are really impressive. I also like Pier One Place in Fort Worth, I would like to see it lit-up at night.

Fountain Place is astoundingly futuristic 20 yrs after completion and #1 for me. Other personal favorites are BofA Dallas/Houston, Wells Fargo (Houston), and 1400 Smith Street (Houston). I have high hopes for the U/C Victory/Mandarin Tower (Dallas).
