MTV is coming

Apparently, MTV2 will be recording a show at the Local 432 club downtown on April 16th. They will be following an indie band OMG ("Oh My God") around and the band wanted to make sure the Flint Local 432 was involved.

Other than that, I don't know anything. You can see the date on the Local's website on the calendar and there's a discussion about it on the messageboard.

A few nice shots of Flint and the club, including an arch at night and Buckham Alley Theatre as an interview backdrop. No specific mention of the Local, but it was a good night all the way around.

Thanks for the link. I never caught the documentary, but it's pretty nice. It's too bad they didn't mention the Local, though.

I agree with VeeFan, Flint doesn't seem like a place where MTV would come.
