These pictures of downtown Orlando tear at me, because on one hand they look cool, and on the other........ I dont know.

These first four pictures that tennis was so kind to post are the kind that you save and stash away until you dig them up 10 years later to see how much has changed. We already know that in a few years, that view down Church Street in Parramore will be drastically different with the new arena and all of the development that is sure to surround it. Add in the new towers that will pop up around the SunTrust/PAC core and everything else we don't know about yet and these current-day photos of downtown will look down right antiquated.

those Church St. photos are almost like case-study photos. go down it at night and see the pretty x-mas decor...looks a little like MGM lights... looks can be deceiving.

How did this park turn out? It is hard to tell from the pictures. Once Church Street begins filling in I forsee this becoming a huge asset to the neighborhood.

Agreed, that area where CityView Apts is located is rather nice and landscaped. Maybe I can get my buddy to venture over there with me one of these nights

When are they starting the street enrichment project? They are suppose to be adding lights and redoing the entire streets sometime soon. Anyone know? Church Street will finally be beautiful on both sides hopefully.

There were people literally everywhere we looked carrying DSLRs and taking photos downtown last night, too. I suspect some of them may have been some of y'all?
