Yes. I went to the top of that 7 story garage. The wind gusts on Saturday were very strong. I had a cup of coffee wedged into my camera bag and the wind grabbed it, lifted up into the air, and plopped it down 7 stories on the ground. I had a hard time trying to keep the camera still and even holding onto it.

Yeah, I didn't want to say it, but it truly is.

Actually boring is an understatement.

I'm thinking pedestrian... or run-of-the-mill.

Common.

Lackluster.

Not even interesting enough to be ugly.

Just..... nothing.

I agree. It is kind of hard to believe that this:

Waldorf_Astoria_Collection_Bonnet_Creek_Exterior_rendering.jpg

is a spawn of this:

I agree with you gentlemen, but you have to take into context the enviornment in which they occupy. Our version, is by all means a resort/convention hotel with a golf course (EDIT: AT DISNEY). The interior appointments for the Waldorf hotel will be top notch though. The Hilton, well......Mad Hero said it, "It looks like a hilton.

Let me see if I can get permission to post both my interior and exterior photos that I have of both sites.

yeah, that Waldorf in NYC is truly a masterpiece, from the moment you walk in the door on Park Ave.

as for our Hilton... all I know is that it's a 1,500 roomer, adds even more validity and clout to the destination, and will be, according to their site, the largest of the Hilton chain, with the first Waldorf Collection as well. if it's anything like the Grande Lakes complex, it will be stunning.

???? Not sure where goofy fits into this thread but....

Its as plain as day to anyone who has read the DaVinci code:

From the stormy four corners of Orlando's power base, goofy pronouncements and smackdown politics combine for citrus bowl renovations* over the stubborn defense of Cavalier hoteliers.

*For mostly monster trucks shows, apparently.

:whistling:

that was brilliantly put, I must say.

Is that Vince McMahon with Dyer in that picture?

^What is the source of that Walmart picture? There is NO way this is accurate; take the Northeast corridor for instance, there is no Walmart in Boston-Cambridge (you'd have to go out to Reading) or NYC (where is there one anyway, Jersey or Westchester?).
