Speaking of the Metropolitan, I drove down Jefferson to the back of it on that side street connecting to Washington the other nite with a girlfriend of mine...

After looking at the Dynetech site on one side and then the M to the left, she exclaimed:

"What is that, a motel?" I just looked back at her and sighed... "its a long story..."

this is a true story.

SHe actually truly didn't know where exactly we were at that point. But, she has a point b/c when you drive along the back of the bldg, nothing has been changed.

From this point forward, the Vue is just going to look more stunning every two-week period that passes.

yeah I really wish they would have done something to the back. I think the windows might get changed in the near future. They are still working on the bar on the corner where the sales office used to be but have not given us any details lately.

I know it's not Orlando, but I wanted everyone to see the beautiful contours of the Georgia Aquarium. We could use more "curves" (no, not the place women work out in... there are too many of those) in our downtown architecture.

TT will be essentially covering Solaire. If you can make out the roof of the library and Embassy, it will be directly to the left of the libary and right of the Embassy. Hope that helps!

Another way of looking at it the last picture. From the left, are Capital Plaza II, then Capital Plaza I (both blue), the the shorter tan Embassy Suites. The next building in that row would be TT.

Here's a pic of the garage that is going in on Jefferson...

I don't remember the address, but this is the back side of the office building on north Orange Ave. Parking garage is now intact.
