Makes it look like the Vegas skyline.  Not Good.

Are you referring to their downtown? Because I'm sure most people would gladly trade our downtown skyline for the Strip's, even if it is a tourist trap. And don't even get me started on how bad it makes I-Drive look.

I think it's the shape of all those Las Vegas hotels that is the issue.

Like the big hotels on I Drive and the Disney area, their massive width gives the impression of boxiness.

The preference for an urban downtown skyline tends to be tall and slender.

As glittery and illuminated as the LV skyline is, I doubt most people who like skylines would want theirs to look like that.

Referring to wide tall hotel buildings. Like this.  These sort of hotel buildings are boxy spacer.png

You beat me to it. I saw a few people wading through the water -- if they only knew how gross that water is (basically runoff from all over downtown ).

A few more pics around downtown:

Was going to take a good up-close picture of the new "Orb" statue associated with I-4 and the Colonial pedestrian bridge today, but apparently a homeless person has moved in.  (I don't know if I can blame the person given the recent weather, but dang).

I think a circular wrought iron style fence around the base with those spearhead shaped pointy things on top wouldn't look too bad there.

Solve that problem too.
