great update. Osceola Brownstones is a great addition, and i'm looking forward to the retail along the Sanctuary, hopefully there will be some restaurants in the mix. Cornerstone looks better, no doubt, but it doesn't appear that any retail has moved into the space. I remember a while back some reports about a car dealership moving in but that doesn't seem to have happened.

I think the car dealership was floated when Benchmark was nixed, for that side of the block.

I believe the car dealership was suggested for a Benchmark replacement and not a Cornerstone replacement. There is some rumors floating that Benchmark may be back in play so the car dealership deal is not in stone.

When Kuhn dropped the Benchmark tower he kept the redevelopment of the old Penneys now called Cornerstone. After Benchmark was dropped Kuhn mentioned a possible high-end car dealership. Bentley or something.

Ah... thanks for the clarification! I'd rather see the Benchmark go up instead of a car dealerhip. High end or not.

Very true, then perhaps I meant I'd much rather see a re-vised version of the Benchmark rise than a car dealership.

isn't the benchmark project now the washington tower? I sure hope so cause washington is hot and would be hot for that area!

The only Tower on Washington is the Presidential Condo. Benchmark was all office. Although when they pitched it they included a picture of the Presidential but it was never part of Benchmark. Kuhn just said that along with Benchmark they were in talks we a developer who wanted to co-locate a residential tower. When Benchmark pulled out the other developers with the residential tower did not.

I'm a big fan of this building. Too bad it's not closer to downtown.

Maybe in 20 years downtown will spread south into the ORMC Medical park.

The other tower on Washington is very much seperate and is very likely being built. I love it - reminds me of "Blue" in Miami.

Add in Paramount, Star Tower, Tradition Tower, Washington residential, Dynetech, Vue, Ridgley Manor,BofA and Courthouse. It will almost look like a big city.

You might be able to see the edge of Ridgely too if it were there.

Tradition Towers may block out the whole Suntrust cluster from this angle.

On the plus side, Dynatech will plug a major gap in the middle.

Benchmark, Monarch and Washington would joined the gap too.

And not sure where the unknown tower from Dyer speech tomorrow will locate yet.

+, theres going to be a nice collection of buildings more north on the eola side which will make it looked all that more full.

Hopefully the Lutheran people will build something on their land. Is the Highland people decide to build the Capital Plaza III yet?
