The former Lexington's new owners, S&L Hospitality, didn't waste any time changing the flag to its new Crowne Plaza mark.

Four years and a step up from the old Holiday Inn.

man, two days late with my post on the OCP page...

this is huge. why? b/c instead of having a foreclosed-on bldg on I-4, we have a Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Here's the hotel inventory now:

1. Grand Bohemian

2. Sheraton

3. Marriott

4. Embassy Suites

5. *Crowne Plaza

6. Courtyard by Marriott

7. whatever else comes down the development pipeline... such as Hilton on Garland & Church; etc...

go to Camden, around back, along the Garland Ave. streetscape, they've hung big placards/ giant squares visible from I-4 (if there were no trees, that is).

Wow, Metrowester. those shots are really nice. they make Orlando look less like the inland city people always crack on it for, and more cosmo and colorful-- no user error on that photowork either!

After looking at those latest pics of Orlando, my anticipation for what the city would eventually become is now a reality. I am very happy with what the city looks like, and I hope it only gets better.

Great pictures. Different views than I have seen before. I noticed that the 55W crown looks weird...almost askew from certain angles. How weird. I love the DENSITY in this shot.
