Destroy NIMBY's with your vote!

I'm from Victoria BC, and we have an unfortunate problem with NIMBY's that would rather see surface parking lots scar our downtown, instead of allowing higher density development. Apparantley large swaths of blacktop are more people friendly too them than development's with ground floor retail that actually add life to the street.

Right now there's a poll about urban densification in our local paper at www.canada.com/victoria it's a little down and to the right! If you feel for the cause please vote, and you can feel good about sticking it to some NIMBY's while you're at it, although they may not be the one's you really wanna give it to(in your city).

EDIT: if you're too lazy too read the pole just vote yes, it's neck and neck right now, damn NIMBY's.

Well, it will hopefully help change a few minds in Victoria, so it only really matters to help change public opinion. Thanks for voting everyone, we're at %58.21 yes to %36.10 no.

Looks like they took the poll down, last I saw we were ahead at about %61, so thanks to all of you that voted.
