It's funny how some places allow casinoa and others don't. In NM, casinos are sprining up everywhere. In CT there is Foxwoods. The surrounding states are considering casinos but nothing is really happening, and there is a lot of opposition. MA has casino boats that go offshore, but they are small and not always successful. A referendum in Maine just defeated casino gambling and ended the chances for a planned $400 million casino development there.

I have heard casinos are bad for NM because they take business from other local business, and most of the money ends up going out of state to service debt. How are casinos viewed in other places?
