Can't help but think that DFW's capacity problems are bullish for CLT (if we can manage expansion, I am starting to get a sense as a non-expert that we are moving too slowly).

Anyone know when the construction for the E concourse expansion is supposed to begin?  I feel like they said it was going to done this summer, but it hasn't even begun?

I can't tell if these gates look bigger, they do but it could be an illusion I guess.

They did a significantly better job with the signage over the gate doors compared to Concourse B. Makes a big difference in how much nicer this version of the renovation looks.

They did a pretty good job of making something outdated still look really outdated lol.. that choice in carpet is something special.  Maybe it looks better in person.

It is the exact same carpet in the Concourse A expansion and Concourse B renovation. This will be the carpet in all concourses once renovation is complete.

Yes, scroll through the photos and you will see the white and grey terrazzo flooring from Concourse A expansion and Concourse B renovation running down the middle of the concourse where people drag their luggage. Only the gate seating areas have carpet (just like A expansion).

Apologies, I didn't scroll. That looks way better and opened up Terminal A quite a bit, but I still wish that they made the windows a bit bigger.

Also looks like no hiccups or issues flipping Delta back over to their original gates. All morning departures were on time out of the renovated gates.

Flew AA out of DFW the other day for the first time in a couple of years. While Terminal D is very nice, the renovated Terminal A and Terminal C are dumpy and no worse than CLT tbh. The gate areas are a little more spacious than CLT's (and the ceilings seemed higher and there were more windows) due to DFW's semi-circular layout that only has gates on one side of the building, but it was equally as smelly/dingy as CLT.

New website is online. While better than the old one by far, it is still very basic and cheap looking compared to say dfwairport.com or flysfo.com...but I guess how many people actually go to an airport website.

So on the website it says that sun country flies to Charlotte, can anyone shed any light on that cause I had no idea they flew to Charlotte?
