As promised, here are the photos of the current area defined by E. Summit, 277, and S. Tryon. I think it might be considered Wilmore, but it will likely be "annexed" into South End as it grows. As much of this area is part of the South End Pedscape plan, I suspect that it will see public improvements and has the potential for being a dense urban area in the medium term. The Mayor was adamant that the zoning not kill off the industry in this area, so it may be slower transition. I am cool with that as long as the industry in this area is not heavy high-polluting industry. I think baseball will help this area.

Here are some old gritty retail buildings on W. Morehead in this area.
