GVest went under contract with the Browders for the land where the Pterodactyl used to be as well as the Burger Co parking lot.  Plan is for ~150 apts between the two lots.

Not as of now...but given the parcels are in the West Morehead PED, it is hoped the neighborhood can push them in that direction.

This is a project our neighbors want to support, but, also want to make sure the developers think of the big picture and create something that integrates into Wesley Heights.

Yeah, that looks great! Using all that brick for the industrial look rather than just putting up a generic "South End" apartment building really makes a ton of difference.

Do you notice the last section of P&N rail track is still preserved along Summit?  Hope they maintain it as a reminder of who developed the area in the first place...

Looks great.  Definitely the best apartment design yet in this cycle, an hopefully puts pressure on others to up their game?  Do we have an architect name?  It looks like BBM, which is a good thing.

Architects for the new development are Housing Studio based out of Charlotte. Contractors have not been selected.

This is actually a rendering BBM did for a project in NoDa.  They made the rendering for the client to be a pretty picture that the owner can pitch developers.  As of right now this thing does not appear to have any legs.
