Tepper was really really really close to buying a few months back, but it fell through. Really its not a great location currently, that will change as the Gold District grows up.

Didn't realize its been over 4 years, since the Toronto developer bought it, and nothing has happened.

@EllAyyDub why the confused face? Nobody lives over here, and 8 events a year does not automatically make  something a good location for retail. Not even when you add in 17 more events for MLS. Now if you add another 1000 units of residential, Lending Tree & Honeywell, down the street, then it becomes more viable.

Is there a forum for Wilkinson road development?  I don't see anything for the (true) west side of Charlotte, between this topics area and the airport.

With silver line coming down this road I feel like it has some growth potential.

Here's an article that got me thinking about it. If you work in this new project you can walk to the ABC and QT for lunch :)

2 more retailers lined up for Refinery at 77 and W Morehead.  

From todays Biz Journal

""Two retail tenants have joined the lineup at The Refinery office building west of uptown Charlotte.  Rocket Pizza and Copper Willow Salon will lease 4,100 and 2,100 square feet, respectively, on the ground floor of the office building at 1213 W. Morehead St. The tenants join coffee purveyor Queen City Grounds, the first retailer to sign on at The Refinery.  ""
