Peaceful, serene views of Union County draw many people to the area. But droves are also coming for lower taxes and leaving the area less tranquil than it once was.

The city of Waxhaw is exploding with baby boomers moving out to the country for land, lower taxes and better schools.

a side note, you gotta love how they call trailers "learning cottages"

They youngest babyboomers are turning 40 now. A few of them may still be burdened with children.
