Huntsville this weekend (Sep. 24-26) held the 13th Annual Big Spring Jam, which is one of the largest music festivals in the South. 250,000 people attend yearly, but due to Rita, had to cancel Sunday's acts.

Another festival in Huntsville is Panoply, in April. It is a fine arts art festival, and about 50,000 people attend that festival. Both events are held in Big Spring Park downtown.

Bikes, Blues, and BBQ in Fayetteville, Arkansas is one of the biggest bike rallies in the United States with about 225,000 people and 75,000 motorcycles.

Some people are expecting just under 300,000 people this year. Pretty impressive for a festival that started in an alley here in Fayetteville just 6 years ago. Now some are saying it's second only to the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. Two other big popular festivals here in northwest Arkansas are the War Eagle Crafts Festival and the Tontitown Grape Festival.
