Scott, thanks for the awesome pics. I had heard of Lowell, but I knew absolutely nothing about it. It looks incredible, outstanding architecture and design. I am going to have to visit some of these New England towns one day.

Lowell looks wonderful and a little depressing all at the same time. There are some great old buildings there. I have never actually visitied the city even though it's right in the Boston metro. Is it gentrifeid in just a few areas? It seems to have so much potential for lofts and cool neighborhoods.

There are some areas of Lowell with really large old homes that make you think, "Is this LOWELL?!?!"

The Belvidere Hill area is where the owners and managment of the mills lived. The houses there are very impressive Victorian Mansions.
