Apr0101.jpgI found this one at an estate sale. It's looking south from the north end of downtown Orlando. I'm not really sure when it was taken, but it's clearly before the East-West Expressway was built, which means it was before I was born. Anyway, Go Gators in the game tomorrow!

That was the old Orange County Courthouse Annex built in the late 1950's that was attatched to what is now the Regional History Center. Up until the mid 1990's both buiuldings comprised the Orange County Courthouse. The Annex portion that you're referring to was actually attatched to the south end of what is now the History Center building. After they demolished the annex in the late 1990's, they had to reconstruct the facade that you now see facing Central. That building was, by the way across the street from Tiajuana Flats. It was also, hands down, the absolute ugliest building in all of Orlando.
