PARIS [9] Ile de la Cite

After sending my friends off to London on the Eurostar at Gare du Nord, I had a light breakfast of French pastries at McDonald's. When I emerged from the restaurants, the skies cleared beautifully and I happily walked down to the Seine for a historic tour of Paris.

Paris' historic roots lie in Ile de la Cite. Here are some photos.

(I might have a photo of Rive Gauche mixed in this series.)
