Tallahassee Parade of Homes 2005!

For as long as I can remember growing up here in Tallahassee, every year my family would go out and check out all of the newest Tallahassee homes.

Here is what my girlfriend and I saw on day one of our Tour of some of the finest new homes in the Florida Capital...

Here's a few images of my personal favorite home in this year's parade.

Located in Pilckem Ridge in the Betton Hills area, it was situated atop a lovely slope, on a corner lot facing the main entrance of the prestegious neighborhood. This home truly commanded the corner. Not a detail was ommited in the construction of this $1.1 Million dollar mansion. I'm not sure if the home was sold when we entered it, but beauty like this won't last long before somene snags it up. Truly this was a treasure worth seeing. I take my hat off to the builder Brantley Custom Homes for allowing my girlfriend and I the pleasure of seeing his work. We are dreaming that someday we'll be able to live like this.

These homes are pimp! This is something you would probaly see on cribs. I to one day would like to have the luxury of living in these gorgeous homes. :D

Now this truly was a cribz home. But my fear is that too many of the homes we saw on parade were overpriced wannabees. 5 Years ago, it is my guess that this same home would have been listed for about $600,000 - $800,000. This real estate market has gone crazy.

^Who knows what the future may hold for the art graduate. He could possibly learn to do murals and beautify the ground floor of some of the projects going on downtown. Maybe you could get into landscape art and design landscaping... surely there's money to be made there. Next thing you know you either an architect, or artist drawing up renderings for major corporations and thats when the big bucks start rolling in!!! :D
