The massive video wall on the north facade of the south tower is going up tonight. I saw the panels being prepped for lifting tonight. I imagine by morning the screen will be fully mounted. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Fantastic! I actually saw that going on yesterday and was wondering if this is what it was for. I remember an APR meeting where they rejected it and never saw it approved afterwards.

Did the City ever pass that "sign zone" ordinance? Where more outdoor advertising would be allowed in the CBD and Uptown?

Cobb has done a good job with the theater, I think - fortunately, I walk over and don't have to park in what has been described as the parking garage from heck (my Romneyism for today!)

The French bakery everyone has been talking about looks about 3-4 weeks away from opening based on the progress of the build out. Walked by today and snapped their signage:

Great news.  Also, there is an excellent new eatery where Spiceburger used to be, called Pho-something or another.  They have great rice bowls etc.  It’s not greasy and it’s really good.  FYI.

Oh dear. I believe they’re based in Mexico. It no doubt takes some deep pockets to survive in the theater business right now (AMC, for example, is controlled by the Chinese).
