BTW, I did not realize that the Church Street Station was that brick building being torn down for 55 West, can anyone explain that situation to me so I am no longer confused as to why some condo building is destroying the one entertainment venue in downtown o-town that I have heard and seems to draw crowds (or did)?

They're not tearing down the entire Church Street Station. The part to be left intact of CSS is between the railroad tracks and I-4. The Improv has been there for just over 3 years now and is not going anywhere. Lou Pearlman owns the building and runs his TransCon companies out of it. On the south end is Club Paris (sad that even happened) and Toojay's Deli.

Downtown entertainment has migrated to the clubs along Orange. What is being torn down is not quite CSS but Church Street Market right next to it. This venue and Church Street Station have been dead for quite a few years.

  • 4 weeks later...

I think it's slated to be 330 feet which is only slightly taller than the Citrus Centre. I think it's just the angle of the pic.

I think we might have the incorrect heights listed for the Citrus Center. The reason is, from the top of Solaire (as of this morning) you are already than it with 6 or 7 floors to go.

Anyone know where the elevators are located in the condominium homes tower?

Thats a weird question. There is a 4 cluster elevator shaft off center (about 16 feet) in the left portion of the tower. Basically, if you were looking down on the tower and split it into four parts the shaft is in the second quarter  . BTW why would somebody want to know that?

I want to know because of the proximity to my unit which is on the end.
