According to sentinel, they opt for low rise for housing somewhere in Paramorre, and someone going to build them and throw in some 500K house there as well. And Daisy Lynum was recommending midrise.

They were installing landscaping in the front of the Plaza today. A bunch of palm trees and two oak trees in the middle. Should look pretty nice when complete. I hope it does not turn into a homeless hangout...

The "schedule" on the website also says grand opening 9-15-2006. can't believe we all missed it!

there's some benefit poster around town that lists the plaza as its venue from what i recall. i think i saw it at mills market.

From the awnings and looks of things, it certainly looks setup for some retail along there.

The Plaza is holding a benefit for Cystic Fybrosis I believe. It will be in the plaza where the north and south tower connect. It is pretty sweet.

At the mall. It will just be closed later (seen how the Gap is doing now? As in the company financials?) as people find a new brand name to attach themselves to.

Perhaps we can replace A&F with UNIQLO. It's cheaper and... not so... uh... sleeveless and "perfectly" torn. Oh yeah, and doesn't look so bad on older crowds. Older guys in A&F... like late 40's just don't pull it off. Sorry. ;^)

Thanks! I think the rendering look comes from some lighting correction I had to do on the Church Street area of the pic. It was very dark.

It really is amazing how much this complex looms over downtown, It is just massive.

There are some really fantastic lines on this building. I can not wait to get down there to photograph it. And I am dying to see it lit up at night.
