A quick heads up

Be sure to check out the Detroit Athletic Club's exterior lighting next time you are downtown at night. I saw it on Saturday night and it is absolulutly breathtaking. (sorry for not having a picture)

Yeah, I really like the new lighting scheme. I first noticed it about two weeks ago. I will have to see if I can find a photo of it.

The DAC has such beautiful architecture, I look forward to seeing this. Is the back lit? I t would be interesting seeing that from Comerica Park.

This is a really good move on the DAC's point... plus, it will look real good during all star week... all those HR Derby Shots!

Also, the building to the west of the DAC appears to be getting some rehab (at very minimum, new windows)

hmm, I thought that building was already rehabbed. Also for some reason, I recall that building having exterior lighting as well. Maybe I'm thinking of the Gem Theatre which I definitely know does.

I saw a cherry picker changing windows out a few weeks ago on the building I am speaking of. It may have very well have gotten some rehab previously (perhaps an ongoing project?).

They are installing new windows on that building right now. I noticed during the PW tour on Saturday.

The lighting looks great. Hopefully other building owners will see how great it looks and go for similar effects.
