Again, just for clarification, this is a different Related.  The Related looking at Charlotte is based in Miami, vs the Hudson Yards developer Related which is based in NY.    Both companies are "related" (pun intended), but  very distantly (founder of Florida firm used to work for NY firm and had original equity backing from them several decades ago if I remember correctly) but for all practical purposes are fully distinct.

OK.  Thanks.  Related (Miami) develops really nice projects too, so whatever they're planning should be amazing.

the Colony is looking good.  I can't tell has that Publix started as I can't tell on my many drive bys on the site.  anyone know?  Today.  and view of Rexford Road which has quite a few F1000 HQs with Coca Cola Consolidated and Nucor.  Nucor will occupy 2 full buildings for their HQ there.

You know, I'm not one to  complain, but this monstrosity is aesthetically awful.  This building is nothing more than a Las Vegas hotel and casino minus the glitzy lights and over-the-top signage and banner.

What are the materials? 

Looked at the renderings, may not be EFIS. Think normal people will look at it and think it's fine.

This angle of the back shows the worst of it. It's an 80s postmodern tower shrunken down with a 90s postmodern tower tacked on the front. Such an awful design.

Legacy Union 1's Little Sister. Looks much like a hospital. Hideous. But I'm stuck on the fact that it, if approved, will be the tallest tower in SouthPark at 250 feet. At only 10 stories!!

Notice the name of the building Terminus which is a Latin word  the language of ancient Rome.   I will finally be able to use my 3 years of high school Latin right here in Charlotte.  These shops should be renamed The Forum!

Other than vocabulary and declension endings, I basically remember: “Omnia Gallia est divisa tres partes.”

Mid-March is big for Ancient Rome: Ides of March and St. Patrick’s Day.  (His parents were Romans living in Brittania.)

It's also the original name of Atlanta. 

But this building definitely looks like some homemade LS*P low quality  tat.
