Federal Hill, Providence, RI-a little Italy whose restaurants easily rival New York's, and an atmosphere that is just as alive today as it was 50 years ago. Complete with an original Italian church (where some masses are still held in Italian), a mixed-use pedestrian square and tons of authentic Italian restaurants, bakeries, and markets, Federal Hill is one of the best Italian neighborhoods in the country.

It's not my favorite ethnic enclave, but Chamblee and the nearby suburbs of Atlanta are known for a large population of Asians.

My favorite Enclave in Atlanta is probably Sweet Auburn, a district filled with old homes. It is known for it's African flavor. It has a famous Food Market.
