They were carefully removing the shingled mansard roofline, and there was no evidence of heavier demo equipment such as wrecking balls or steam shovels.

Wish more places would post a sign indicating what's coming in.

According to the City's Commercial Building Permit Activity, it's going to be a Tim Horton's Cafe and Bake Shop with drive-thru service.

Seems like every kfc has been closing. Such a shame because kfc has good food.

On Facebook, some West Side residents are decrying the closure of their last gas station (Fulton at 131) and stating that they need more economic development (and a new place to buy gas). It will be interesting to see the reaction to a new drive-through use.
