Who remembers when this was the view  from near the Broadwest?   I think the Rambler dealership is part of the Subaru and the Cadillac across the street is now a vacant lot.  This was taken in 1964 predating Jim Reed and Beaman.

From the vehicles, I'd guess 1964, long before my time. But it's interesting to see (obviously) no Interstate and continuous rows of buildings on both sides, parking meters, lack of utility poles, little mini-skyline and the National Life (classic deco tower) is the tallest thing after L&C. The 60s and 70s were brutal to downtowns.

Interview with Tommy Hall, the owner of Halls Chophouse, which will be opening a $6.5 million, 12,500 sq. ft. space (including outdoor patio) in the office tower at Broadwest. It will create 400 jobs and has a May, 2022 opening planned.

The website says they are opening inMay of 2022, but are not taking reservation yet.

Quite impressive to learn of CapGemini’s large expansion in Nashville.  They are a major international consulting firm and this is more evidence of Nashville’s growing importance as a business center.  Big catch for the Broadwest development.
