Cannot imagine how Alex S Palmer must feel when looking at the completed Broadwest site.  His many failures in trying to develop West End Summit have to rank as one of the biggest debacles ever in Nashville.

Hall's Chophouse inside the Broadwest office tower is opening this week. It covers 10,000 sq. ft., with a 2,500 sq. ft. patio, with a capacity of 350, and cost $6.5 million to build out. 

 Interior design work was led by Garvin Design Group, based out of Columbia, South Carolina. The general contractor was Franklin-based Doster Construction, Maverick Millwork out of Memphis was the group behind the millwork and Nashville Metal Art did the custom entryway signage.

Upgrades to the space include a Halls’ signature wine wall with a sliding ladder in the front of the restaurant, featuring a selection of 1,600 bottles.

Guests are greeted by a sleek piano and live music space hosting performers every night of the week. Walls are decked out with 121 pieces of artwork from across the country, some focusing on Tennessee.

Halls’ features two bars — a main bar for a more lively experience and Bill’s Bar, a tribute to founder Bill Hall, a more intimate space toward the back situated in line with Nashville’s waterline.

I like it too, but man, the drop tile ceiling looks bad and detracts a good bit.  Should've gone with some version of a tin ceiling, faux or otherwise.....

The build out is horrible and leaves much to be desired imo. I was in there a few days ago. Very underwhelmed. Feels dated and like a suburban chain steakhouse to me. Still wanna try the food though. But it def lacks a vibe.

It looks ok. I don’t like the carpet and the ceiling should be a few feet higher. Carne Mare in the W looks much better.

I agree, underwhelming.  The chandeliers  look more appropriate to Longhorn Steakhouse and the potted plants look like they belong in a maden aunt's breakfast room.  Hardly elegant I think.

Thanks.  Wasn't aware there was such a thing.   I clicked on the picture and then magnified it.  Three things:  i(1) t definitely works....(2) good to see the site scraped clean next to it (hoping those trees survive)...(3) that Westin is still ridiculous looking.

Nope, the trees are toast.  The floor plan shows a residential lobby right up to the back of Adele's.  Crappy trees anyway...hackberries.

I can't say much about the selection of flooring and the transitions IMO.  UGLY!   Too dang much black too in the furnishings.  DULL.!

Propst Development has sold the Conrad Hilton Hotel portion (234 rooms) of the larger tower to Northwood Investors LLC for $119 million.  That works out to $508,000 per room. The hotel is set to open June 29th.  Northwood manages $8 billion of investor capital in the U.S. and Europe.

The Conrad Hilton has its grand opening on Wednesday. It takes up 13 floors on the Conrad Tower and offers 234 rooms and suites, a fitness center, three food and beverage concepts, a pool deck + 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. 

Conrad features three dining concepts: Blue Aster, The Lounge at Blue Aster + Thistle & Rye.

- Blue Aster offers an “innovative twist on modern Southern cuisine” with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Some menu highlights include hot stone ahi tuna, king crab chitarra pasta + mac and cheese waffles. 

- Adjacent to the restaurant is The Lounge at Blue Aster, a contemporary space to enjoy champagnes, cocktails, and wines from its 2,500-bottle curated wine room. Other dining features include an afternoon tea service, scones, pastries, and tea sandwiches.

- The third floor beverage-centric concept Thistle & Rye — slated to open later this summer — will serve up small plates (think: lobster rolls + pork belly bao buns) paired with live music.
