So glad to see this FINALLY moving! I remember looking at renderings for this site (back when Palmer had the spot) in 2010. I was only 13 but I was thrilled by the idea of a big tower being erected in far-flung West End. Like the rest of us, I have been eager for so long for something to be built here. I have always been fascinated with urban development and vertical growth in Nashville, and seeing this project moving along is very satisfying for a geek like me. More density

There’s still a chance they could decide to just stop and fill it back in with water.  Then...they’d offer diving tours of the “Underwater Ruins of Lake Palmer.”  “Dive down and actually touch the ancient pillars of concrete where man once envisioned progress...but was somehow stymied by a mystical force no one can explain.”
