Let's say the city invested in the land and relocated the Mission...

Could it be a public park for the next 15-20 years and then be used as an expansion space for the convention center? Seems like it would really aid development in the area(the Gulch, Sobro, Lafayette area) and could be a real win-win for the city...

Land in this area is going to be REALLY expensive in 20 years when development has already progressed...convention center expansion will be more costly if the city waits

The additional development from such a move would mean lots of additional property tax revenue for the city...

Would be great for, and encourage, people to move to the Gulch, Sobro...could help residential development(more condos, apartments) in this entire area...

Could help the the entire area around Lafayette develop too
