Notre Dame leaves the Big East for the ACC, However the football program will remain independent and not move but all other athletics will be in the ACC including basketball. Syracuse, Pitt and West Virginia are also leaving the Big East for the ACC. It will boost the ACC to 16 schools. This also expands the ACC media market.

I predict UCONN will be next.
